St. Bartholomew students have the opportunity to learn teamwork, cooperation, and more through a variety of activities conducted outside the normal school day.

Art Club
Ceramics, print making and scrapbooking experiences for students in grades 7 and 8.

Athletics
Any student attending SBCS may play on the teams for St. Bartholomew Parish (SBAA) (regardless of whether or not it is the family’s home parish).

       Fall:                Basketball, Football, Cheerleading
       Winter:           Girls Volleyball, Boys Basketball
       Spring:           Boys Baseball, Boys Volleyball, Girls Volleyball, Track

Band
Instructional band classes are available after school for students in grades 4 through 8.

Bible Bowl
Students on the Bible Bowl team undertake the task of studying 10 books of the Bible in preparation for an inter-school competition.

Broadcasting Team
Grade 8 students prepare and present morning announcements.

Choir
Choir members in grades 4-8 practice vocal lessons, have opportunities to cantor at Mass, and sing at various events.

Girls' Science Club
Visiting female scientists present programs to the 6th grade girls and their mothers.

Guitar
Beginning and advanced lessons are available for students in grades 1 through 8.

Math Club
Academic teams compete with other schools.

Minds in Training
Students in grades 1 - 4 are mentored by students in Grades 7 - 8.

Power of the Pen
This team of 7th and 8th graders work on enhancing their writing skills and participate in a creative writing competition.

Scouts
Girl Scouts K-8; Cub Scouts Grade 2-5; Boy Scouts Grade 6-8. The scouting programs are run through various parishes and are open to any of the SBCS students.

Service Club 
Through this club, students learn that as individuals and as a group, they make a difference in the lives of others. Projects are designed to be done on-site.

Student Council
Representatives come from grades 5-8. The council emphasizes service and spirit.

Yearbook
Students in grades 7-8 get experience in photography and page design.
